Lowering cholesterol naturally is not difficult to do. For lowering cholesterol and preventing high cholesterol levels, have you been thinking about ways to lower cholesterol, how to find a low cholesterol diet, how to choose low cholesterol foods, etc. ?
I have thought about these things for a long time. Several years ago, I started giving blood every 8 weeks. Nothing so special about that, just good for everybody, you might think. Well, nowadays, after you donate blood, the blood service center will give you your blood cholesterol levels for free if you go on line to their website and check you donor ID number. What I noticed over time was that my blood cholesterol was dropping. I didn’t know what might be causing this change until I read an article by a scientist who found that cholesterol is used in the manufacture of the walls of red blood cells. By putting two and two together, it all made sense to me. When you give blood, you eliminate red blood cells. Your body then uses cholesterol to manufacture new red blood cells. My cholesterol has dropped from about 220 to 140 and has stayed in the 140 to 155 area. Not to bad since I haven’t changed my eating habits or anything else. My last cholesterol level as of 11/07/2010 was 138…..
Here is the chart of my cholesterol:
So if you have high cholesterol, try giving blood on a regular basis and see what happens. Don’t stop taking your medications and always check with your doctor first.
